You’ve probably seen these hot lesbian couples from TV series on tv. These shows are a great source of entertainment for the fans!

Orange Is The New Black and Vis a Vis are both amazing shows. Both are a bit American but both feature excellent, long-lasting lesbian relationships!

Wynonna Earp

Wynonna Earp (Melanie Scrofano) is a great-great-granddaughter of Wyatt Earp, who inherited his famous Peacemaker handgun and a family curse that allows her to fight demons. She enlists the help of her sister Waverly, agent Xavier Dolls, gunslinger Doc Holliday, and police officer Nicole Haught to rid her town of 77 Revenants and break the curse.

Unlike most queer romances on television that were often linked to tragedy, Wynonna Earp was an unapologetically transgressive show that championed the strength of lesbian love. And the odds were stacked against WayHaught at various times in the series — Waverly was possessed by the Mitican, the Widows nearly killed Nicole, or even Wynonna herself was threatened with a ship sinking — but they persevered.

The show is also unafraid to lean into camp, which has inextricable ties with queerness. Ultimately, Wynonna Earp is one of the most powerfully queer shows on TV today.

Haunting of Bly Manor

After the death of an au pair, Henry Wingrave (Henry Thomas) hires a young American nanny to raise his two orphaned nieces and nephew at Bly Manor. She quickly finds herself tripped up by the estate’s secret past.

Dani, a young woman with wide eyes and a deep accent, arrives unprepared for the supernatural goings-on at Bly Manor, a story adapted from Henry James’ novella The Turn of the Screw.

As the governess, she begins to see people who no-one else can, including the iron-willed Viola Willoughby-Lloyd, the former heiress and owner of Bly. But she’s not alone, as the ghosts of Bly’s dead also linger.

Amar a Muerte

The love story between Juliana and Valentina on Mexican telenovela Amar a Muerte was one of the most authentic LGBTQ romances I’ve seen on primetime television. Though they were not the main couple, their friendship developed into something much more over the course of 87 episodes.

After the show’s final episode aired in March, fans were left heartbroken. Tens of thousands of people signed a petition asking the show’s producers to create a spin-off that revolves around Juliana and Valentina’s characters.

Univision launched Amar a Muerte this Monday, outperforming Telemundo in all key local markets including Los Angeles and Miami. The premiere also surpassed Senora Acero V in Total Viewers 2+ and Adults 18-49.

Love to Death

While TV is a great platform for telling lesbian stories, some of these characters are prone to ending up in the grave. In fact, many queer women on television die in painful ways, including getting killed by gunshots or jealous men.

In a world where lesbians are so often murdered onscreen, this is both incredibly upsetting and frustrating. And while some shows eschew this trope and focus on how it affects the lesbian characters left behind, many of them use it as a way to advance the plot.

The Mexican telenovela Amar a Muerte, which means “Love to Death” in English, is one of the most beloved and influential LGBTQ-themed shows of its kind. That’s why tens of thousands of fans have called for a spin-off featuring queer couple Juliana and Valentina, which is causing quite a stir in the country.

Waverly and Nicole

Nicole and Waverly are two of the most beloved characters on WayHaught. Their relationship has seen ups and downs through the show, but they’re always there for each other.

Unlike many couples, they talk about their decisions, and they would never do anything to harm the other person. This is a rarity on television, especially in lesbian-themed series.

In season three, Nicole and Waverly spend a lot of time separated but constantly searching for each other. Their relationship grows stronger, but they’re still struggling to make sense of what’s going on.
